ABOUT MEMPHIS CULTURE COALITION
Memphis Culture Coalition is a group of artists, creatives, cultural organizations, and social entrepreneurs working together to build the case for a real cultural plan in Memphis. We do that through research, strategy, and organizing, bringing Memphis creatives and everyday Memphians into one shared push for investment. Memphis Culture (the platform) is the coalition's advocacy engine, the storytelling platform that carries our research and our message out to the public.

Memphis Culture Coalition is a group of creatives, entrepreneurs, and everyday Memphians building resources, relationships, and systems to shape Memphis culture and grow the local economy.

Today, the coalition is a growing group of creatives, cultural leaders, entrepreneurs, and everyday Memphians, all working toward the same goal. We're powered by The Big We, but the coalition's own members keep the voice and direction. Anyone who cares about Memphis' cultural future already has a place here.

Every month, we come together to share what's happening across Memphis' arts and culture scene, collaborate on citywide projects, and do the actual work of building our city's cultural plan: research, strategy, and organizing. Memphis Culture is how we carry that work out to the public, one story at a time.

The coalition meets the first Tuesday of every month at 11 AM, hosted by a different member or community partner each time. Meetings are where we share updates, plan citywide work, and move the cultural plan forward together. Exact times and locations go out through our mailing list.
